Terms of Service

This page covers the website and the portal. The carriage of goods itself — including liability, claims and the obligations of each party — is governed by the conditions of contract applicable to the shipment, which appear on the waybill or other transport document issued for it, together with any written agreement between us and any applicable international convention.

Where anything on this page conflicts with those conditions in relation to a shipment, those conditions prevail. If you need a copy of the conditions applying to a shipment, contact us and we will provide them.

A price shown by our online calculator or returned against a quote request is an estimate, not an offer capable of acceptance. It is based on the details you provide and on the rates current at the time.

A binding price arises only when we confirm a booking in writing. Estimates may change if the actual weight, dimensions, contents or destination differ from what was entered, or where charges outside our control apply — for example customs duties, taxes, inspection fees, storage or demurrage. Quoted amounts exclude such charges unless we state otherwise, and exclude VAT unless stated.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your password confidential. You must not share your credentials or let anyone else use your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may suspend or deactivate an account that is used in breach of these terms, that appears compromised, or where we are required to do so by law.

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, including about the nature, weight or value of goods;
• use tracking to look up waybill numbers you are not connected with, or to harvest shipment information in bulk;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, or probe, scan or test its security;
• interfere with the operation of the site, including by automated request flooding;
• use the site or its contents for any unlawful purpose.

We rate-limit requests and monitor for abuse in order to keep the service available to everyone.

Some goods cannot lawfully be carried, or cannot be carried by a given mode or into a given country — including dangerous goods that have not been properly declared, classified and packed. You are responsible for telling us the true nature of what you are shipping and for obtaining any licence or permit it requires. If you need to ship something that may be restricted, ask us before booking.

Tracking information and estimated arrival times are provided in good faith and reflect the most recent information we hold. They are indicative, may lag behind actual events, and are not a guarantee of delivery at a particular time.

Invoices are payable according to the terms stated on them and any credit terms agreed with you. Amounts are stated in the currency shown on the invoice. Where a credit limit applies, we may decline to accept further shipments while it is exceeded.

The VEXL name and logo, and the content, design and software of this site, belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site for the purpose of dealing with us. You may not copy, republish or exploit its content commercially, or use our marks, without our written permission.

We aim to keep the site and portal available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, and we may change or withdraw features. Nothing in this section limits our obligations in relation to a shipment we have accepted.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we handle and why. It forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the version in force when you use the site is the one that applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not affect any mandatory rule of law or international convention that applies to the carriage of a particular shipment.
